Re: Information on this Boston Watch Co. watch
Update* I removed the dial and it says KF 270 on the other side of the movement. I was also offered $650 for it from a watchmaker but they could not tell me anything specific about the watch. Anyone out there know or seen anything like this? Thank you,
Josh

I removed the dial from the movement and found KF 270. Other than this marking the only other markings are on the front of the movement as shown. It also was in a stainless steel master sutton case with some numbers scratched inside. I do not have any papers or any other information on the watch. DOes anyone know anything else, like model, year, or maybe a value. It also still ticks.

I never heard of them. I would take the $650 and run.

I'd have taken the $650 offered as it seems to be a generic Swiss watch trying to come off as American made.

Re: Information on this Boston Watch Co. watch
Even if it's in a solid gold case that watch wouldn't come anywhere near the price you were quoted. Take the money and RUN! It's just a generic Swiss movement made by Kurth Freres and has no particular value that I'm aware of. Kurth ended up making the Grana and Certina brands.
Re: Anyone know anything about this Boston Watch Co. watch?
The KF marking on the movement is likely for the swiss company Kurth Freres. They were two brothers, Adolf and Alfred who made watches under the name Certina and sold movements to several American businesses like Grana Watch Company of New York. Joel
