Nice one Greg!

A year or 2 ago there was an aluminum cigarette case on eBay made by the Pioneer Case company... (including the company NY address). It sold cheap. I should have bought it just for the fun of it!

Thanks Guys...

It is really a fun watch to wear!

The sub second disk at 6 is also fun to see.

That pioneer case must have been cool Rick!

Can't wait to see that Aluminum Prototype posted some day!

I can't wait to see the Aluminum prototype, we've talked about it on the phone! 8-) 8-) 8-)

I really love the second disk on vintage watches. Such a cool concept and you've got great examples!

wandering seconds dial.
It is very cool, but actually quite impractical. The human brain can read an analogue sweeping hand faster (by judgement) of position than a wandering dial.
That said, its very cool.

anyone coming to the webinar??

Hi Greg

Great post. I remember how excited I was when I found the Blackhawk advertisement, shortly before I submitted the Illinois Watch book for publication.

BTW Greg I now know of three Illonois Aluminum Prototype wristwatches

Thanks
FJF
